How is the age requirement to drive your own snowmobile?
Drivers are required to be 14 years of age or older in order to drive their own snowmobile. Drivers must be 16 years of age for the High Performance Tour.
What is the minimum age for children to go snowmobiling?
Children must be age 2 or older to ride as passengers. All snowmobile passengers (adults and children) are seated behind the driver. For safety purposes, it is required that a passenger be able to hold on to the driver’s waist or the snowmobile’s passenger seat handlebars.
What is the minimum age requirement for children to ride as passengers on a snowmobile?
For the safety of our guests, we have a maximum of 2 people per snowmobile (driver and passenger) regardless of age.
How many people can ride on each snowmobile?
Each snowmobile will accommodate a maximum of one driver and one passenger (two people total per snowmobile) regardless of passenger age.
What equipment is provided, and what should we bring with us on our tour?
We provide top-of-the-line snowmobiles and helmets. Guests should bring their own warm winter clothing, boots, ski goggles or sunglasses for eye protection, and a warm pair of gloves or mittens. We also highly recommend bringing sunscreen, a neck gaiter, and your camera!
We would like to drive ourselves. How early should we arrive for our tour?
We request that all guests who provide their transportation arrive 1/2 hour prior to their snowmobile tour’s departure time.
Is transportation provided?
Yes. We provide complimentary transportation on our snowmobiling tours from the towns of Vail, Avon, Edwards, and Beaver Creek, Colorado. Please call for pick-up times and locations.
Do your tours require reservations?
We highly recommend them! Our snowmobile tours are the most popular in the area and have extremely high guest demand. Please call in advance for reservations. Even if you’re calling for a same-day tour, our friendly reservations staff can accommodate your needs.
What sort of safety training do your guides have?
Our snowmobiling guides are the best in the business, with years of experience in the Rocky Mountains. We require that all employees have a minimum certification level of first aid, CPR, and backcountry safety.
